Feature Set:  

Through GreenFax you can send and receive faxes through an email account or their web interface. However, this service does not provide vanity numbers or the ability to let you set the time you want your faxes sent. Since this company strives to save paper, it does not automatically create cover pages for your faxes.

GreenFax offers several service plans including their 'Signature Service,' a 'Toll-Free Service' and a 'Send-Only Service.' Generally, these services provide the following:

• Signature

                   250 inbound faxes and 3 cents/received faxes in excess of 250

• Toll Free

                   15 cents per page received

• Send-Only

                   7 cents per minute inside the USA or Canada

Ease of Use:  

This service is as easy as sending an email with an attachment.

Customer Service:  

GreenFax only supports contact by email, however when we contacted them through their email address they responded to our inquiries within 15 minutes. They provided relevant and courteous responses to all of our questions. Helpful additions could include telephone and chat support.

Price/Extra Costs:  

GreenFax services cost more than most other services, at $12.95 per month along with a $10.00 setup fee. Faxes received through a local number are free up to 250, but if you choose to have a toll-free number than it costs 7 cents/page to send and 15 cents/page to receive. One limitation is that this service cannot support virtual fax numbers in all area codes, they only support some major US cities and few outside the US.

GreenFax matches up to to most other services; however, requires a relatively low over the limit fee (for incoming faxes to a local line) compared to others, at only 3 cents per page.
